We learned baklava because Silvassa had nowhere to buy it properly.
Filo pulled thin enough to read through, layered by hand, and filled with pistachio and walnut. It is not a Rajasthani sweet and we have never pretended otherwise. We make it because our customers asked, and then we kept making it because they kept asking.
